Well, Mozart composed his two flute concertos for a wealthy dutch amateur flautist, by the name Willem van DeJong.
So (at least in theory) mijnheer van DeJong would have been the first performer of the Flute Concertos in D and G major. But somehow I suspect that this is not the answer you have been looking for?
However, we know that the KV 314 concerto in D major is most likely an adaption of an earlier concerto in C major for oboe. This oboe concerto was written in Salzburg for an italian virtuoso oboist, Giuseppe Ferlendi. And thus HE would have been the first performer of the KV 314 concerto. |
